Frontend Development

React and Redux lover. Devoted to creating efficient and organized components with less lines of code. Also capable of building apps with Vanilla JavaScript.

Backend Development

Experienced in server and database-building from scratch. Mostly uses Express.js to build servers, but also able to build backend servers and database models using Python/Flask.

Design

Loves to design original apps with intriguing visuals. Able to refine and manipulate website assets using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop with some experiences in other Adobe products as well.

Teamwork

A strong team player. Fully experienced with working in collaborative workplaces, pair-programming, and group projects using GitHub.

Embraces multiculturarism and diversity.

Born in Japan, grew up in both Japan and the US. Fluent in both languages. Exposed with multiculture from early stages in life, Yuka sees diversity as something to embellish that brings new ideas into life.

Cares about design.

Graduated with a BA in Art. During her time the university, she strengthened her core understanding of Art & Design principles and have been working in favor to make educated decisions in terms of visual aspect.

Loves to travel.

During 4.5 years working as a travel agent, Yuka has gained countless experiences communicating ideas, researching, collaborating in physical/remote environments, and problem-solving to fulfill unique needs by customers.
